Gift your Ears Fashion Jewelry – Clip Earrings

Earrings have been an essential part of the jewelleries. Women have treasured and used earrings as an important part of their embellishments. It’s been a tradition to pass time-honoured jewelleries from one generation to the other. Sometimes people want to wear such earrings but at the same time have a needle phobia and thus can’t get their ears pierced. This makes you sad and you have to compromise and bury your interest as bearing pain seems to be a long fortune spent for wearing earrings. However, you are not needed to kill your likes anymore by the help of clip on earrings.

Plastic surgeons all over the world suggest that now a day, ear lobe surgery is among the fastest growing cosmetic surgeries in the world. Every day they are facing so many patients who have the problem of ear lobe surgery and majority of these are caused by wearing heavy pierced earrings. These earrings cause the hole to stretch and sooner or later tear due to the heavy weight. The heavier and lager is the earring, there are more chances of tearing and more damage caused. Fast and stimulus movement such as turning head quickly can double the chance. Hence we conclude that one should opt for clip earring and be saved from these dreadful experiences.

Doctors all over the world suggest that choosing clip earrings which are non-pinching minimises the level of stress on the ear holes. They keep the lobes looking good and feel healthy. These days you are not even needed to compromise and throw away your favourite pair of pierced earring. With the help of convertors available in the market, it has become so very easy to change your much-loved pair of pierced earring into a clip earring. You simply have to buy one and pluck the back. Try it on an inexpensive set first, later move on to your darling pairs.

Reasons Why Healthcare Public Relations Is Essential For Your Healthcare Business

Get Ahead Of The Competition
In this competitive world, Healthcare PR is a necessary component of any business related to the medical field. Whether its hospital public relations, a firm of doctors, or a business offering hospital quality equipment, a company must fight for a place in today’s competitive marketplace. Healthcare PR Agencies help a business to communicate, as well as push the public to recognize a medical firm as on par or even superior to its fellow competitors.

Healthcare PR Is Cost Efficient
Advertising is costly. These days it is difficult to know who that target audience is and which advertising will actually reach the intended audience. Public relations campaigns, on the other hand, deliberately reach out to all types of media. They also utilize the external and internal communication. Specialized PR firms seek to get a message to many different people in a variety of up and coming ways, such as blogs and social media, community outreach, advertisements both on and off line, and more.

Stop Controversy Before It Starts
When it comes to public image, business experts agree that the best defense is a good offense. Obviously no medical firm is perfect, and it is not enough to be ready to respond with the facts when the firm’s reputation is questioned. So to earn the good will of the community, hospital public relations agencies ensure that a firm is recognized for the good work that they do. Then, if a controversy arises, the healthcare business or hospital is not condemned by the public court of opinion via the media or potential customers. A health-related business needs to create public trust, and healthcare PR companies often make that happen.

Sustaining a Client Base
Last but not least, healthcare PR Agencies help healthcare businesses to create and maintain a large client base. Using unique techniques to reach the public at large, heatlhcare agencies will always keep the firms name in the mind of the public. Its just too easy to be forgotten, but a good public relations agency wont let your firm lose its client base.

Why Vegetarians Are Less Healthy

Roughly, about 6% of the world’s population is vegetarian, a trend that is growing. Yet study after study shows that vegetarians are less healthy than their non-vegetarians peers. Why is this so? Surely a diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables should make you healthier, not less healthy, so what’s going on?

In the light of extraordinary new research it is becoming apparent that most vegetarians are in fact less healthy than their non-vegetarian peers. By “peers” I mean people of a similar socio-economic and cultural background. Any valid comparison between vegetarians and non-vegetarians must compare apples with apples. For example, any study that compared an affluent health-conscious vegetarian from California with an impoverished meat eater from the slums of Calcutta is not likely to be meaningful.

Recent studies are clearly showing that compared to their non-vegetarians peers, vegetarians are more at risk of diseases such as infertility, cancer, heart disease, eating disorders, mental disease, and obesity.

Several studies have compared health-conscious vegetarians with health-conscious non-vegetarians from the same demographic (the same socio-economic, health-conscious cohort). In other words, scientists have compared vegetarians and non-vegetarians from similar backgrounds so as to validate the results and they have come up with some surprising conclusions.

For example, in a study of 76,000 people conducted over many years data from five studies were pooled into a very large collaborative analysis of mortality in vegetarians and non-vegetarians (Appleby PN, Key TJ, Thorogood M, Burr ML, Mann J. Mortality in British vegetarians. Public Health Nutr. 2002 Feb;5(1):29-36).

The Appleby Study compared vegetarians and non-vegetarians, adjusted for age, sex and smoking. The results for all-cause mortality showed no significant difference between vegetarians and their non-vegetarian peers. Many studies have shown that vegetarians live longer than the population at large, but the Appleby Study showed that this is not the case when you compare people within the same demographic. The study concluded that ‘Overall mortality was the same between vegetarians and non-vegetarians. But vegetarians had 2.2 times the death rate from mental and neurological diseases as non-vegetarians.’

Several studies have compared vegetarians and non-vegetarians within the same demographic and the research is clearly showing that vegetarians are at greater risk of heart disease, cancer, infertility and other diseases. As most studies have compared vegetarians with the population at large, this is not widely known; such studies provide a false picture because the population at large is not particularly health-conscious.

This begs the question: does this mean that eating animal products is good for health? The research on the whole says NO. So if vegetarians are less healthy than their non-vegetarian peers, what is the reason? Why is it that vegetarians are less healthy than their non-vegetarians peers in the same demographic? This is the vegetarian paradox.

Why Play is Valuable for a Child in Early Childhood Education

The Oxford dictionary describes play as: to fulfill, to occupy oneself, to have the ability to perform, to undertake or exercise activities for pleasure.

Not any particular child, but every child in any nation, environment or circumstance needs play. It’s absolutely necessary for children to play, to express themselves social, emotionally and physically. Play allows itself to be an individual creation or to be shared with others, it can be pulled in any direction letting it be turned into anything a child would like, preparing a healthy start to a lifetime of learning. Play is so special that its generosity even includes having fun; in fact that is one of the most important things about it. It has so many benefits that head off in every direction developing all the important ingredients for strong head start in a child life.

It is the adults job to explore the conditions which are best for maximizing the potential benefits of play for children to develop these social skills. One of the ways to do this is to provide and encourage games that are fun, exciting and positive for children. Many social skills are learnt through co-operative activities allowing the child to learn how to confidently form stronger friendships and relationships with siblings and parents.

Activities that involve interacting with others teach children not only about themselves but also about other childrens feeling needs and wants. Since they have learnt to value others’ emotions they develop skills to handle confrontations and conflicts in the future.

It’s also important for a child to develop physical strengths along with the social and emotional. Play has a huge impact in this development for children of varying ages, abilities and interests. Physical play strengthens a child’s fine motor skills as well as gross motor skills. Fine motor skills include such things as eye, mouth, wrist, finger and toe movements, whereas motor skills are the exercise of the larger muscle groups like the arms, legs and torso. This motor play provides critical opportunities for childrens overall strengthening of muscles, nerves and brain stimulation.

Play involves social, emotional, and physical learning. Included in all these types of learning comes cognitive development, an important result of play. Play gives children the opportunity to understand the world, interact with others in social ways and to express and control emotions. Play is a child’s opportunity to practice the skills they are building, and to try out new tasks. This gives them the framework and knowledge to solve more complex problems. All these things are needed for a child to get a healthy start in life. But the most important part of play is having fun. Play and fun are inseparable from each other. Without play, fun doesnt exist and without fun play cant exist.

Importance of Study Skills We’re Never Going to Use This in Real Life

When students ignore the importance of study skills because “we’re never going to use this in real life,” I tell them about the time I was programming a video game for fun. Early in college, I was working on a video game where a boulder would fly out of a stick figure’s hand when you hit the space bar (by boulder I mean large circle). The arrow keys pointed the stick figure’s arm in different directions (by arm I mean straight line). The problem was if you pressed any arrow key too long the arm would extend out forever. So I needed to enter in a formula that would tell the computer it was OK to spin the arm around and not OK for the arm to reach out into infinity.

I ended up using the Pythagorean Theorem to solve the problem. (Just in case you don’t remember, it’s the formula used to calculate the legs of a right triangle.) Then it hit me, “Crap, I actually used the Pythagorean Theorem in real life.”

Then another realization hit me, “Writing in ancient PASCAL programming language to make large circles appear out of a straight line on my monitor isn’t real life. It’s probably the furthest thing from it.” Which continues to beg the question, if you really are never going to use a lot of what you learn in school anywhere in your life, ever, why spend all that time with it? Most students spend years on the Pythagorean Theorem. How come? What’s the reason why?

Well, let’s compare all that time a student works with that theorem with lifting weights. When you lift weights, you end up developing your muscles. Though it’s not likely you’re going to have to use those exact weights daily to survive (unless you’re a trainer or physical therapist). In the same way, working with theorems help you develop mental muscles. Though it’s not likely you’re going to have to use those exact theorems daily to survive (unless you’re a math teacher). Instead of working with solid weights to build physical muscle, you are working with abstract ideas to build mental muscle. The classroom is the gym for your mind.

No doubt studying is work just like going to the gym is work. We need strong reasons why to continue doing the work. People who physically work out generally don’t want t be seen as unattractive, fat, and lazy. People who work on their study skills generally don’t want to be seen as stupid, incompetent, and lazy. They don’t want to be the dumbest person in a group. They don’t want to be taken advantage of. They don’t want to be broke. They want others to willingly listen to and follow them. They want others to be attracted to them. They want to be successful in whatever they do. They want to be able to invest their money and make more of it. They understand developing study skills can help them become who they want to be.

Dabur NUTRiGO A step towards healthy heart

Heart diseases in India are on the rise in the present time. Earlier, people suffering from heart problems used to be from the age group of 40 &above. But recently it has been observed that heart problems have crept into the lives of younger age group. The rate of people suffering from heart diseases is almost double in India as compared with those of the western nations. Changing lifestyles which result in consumption of improper diets & lack of exercises are considered to be the major reasons behind people getting affected by heart diseases. A good diet results in good health. But the diet for people with heart diseases needs constant attention. Depending on the diet, health of the heart may improve or get worsened. For example diet with high cholesterol content will obviously make the situations worse for heart patients while a diet with Vitamin C and Vitamin E will surely improve health of the heart. To fight with heart problems, one needs to be disciplined in his/her diet plan. But urban lifestyle attracts people to unhealthy eating habits. Considering these constraints and requirements of consumers Dabur has recently introduced a health supplement, Dabur NUTRiGO. Dabur NUTRiGO provides required nutrients as per RDA(Recommended Dietary Allowance) guidelines for Indian consumers. Dabur NUTRiGO is the health supplement which contains appropriate quantity of essential nutrients. Ingredients of Dabur NUTRiGO consist of Vitamin C and Vitamin E that are essential for healthy heart. Vitamin C is well known for its antioxidant activity. It acts as a reducing agent for reverse oxidation in liquids. When human body has more free radicals than antioxidants then these free radicals may result in cardiovascular disease, hypertension, chronic inflammatory diseases and diabetes. The other vital nutrient that takes care of the heart is Vitamin E. This Vitamin is again as essential as the aforementioned one. Vitamin Eis used to refer to a group of fat-soluble compounds that include bothtocopherols andtocotrienols. It is an antioxidant nutrient that has antithrombotic, atherogenic, anticoagulant, anti-proliferative & immune-modulatory actions. Both the Vitamins described above are present along with many more vital nutrients in Dabur NUTRiGO.
